My Honest Cirkul Water Bottle Review [Plus the Best Cirkul Flavors]
Are you tired of drinking plain water and looking for a tasty way to hydrate? Find out if this is right for you or not by reading my honest Cirkul water bottle review.
I've been on a lifelong struggle to stay hydrated.
Besides playing a vital role in keeping us alive, there are numerous benefits to drinking water, like clear skin and a functional digestive system. It feels great!
But drinking water is not always easy. I am the each- or- nothing type; either I am chugging a gallon of water in a day or it's 5 PM, and I've a headache because I have only had three( surely decaffeinated) mugs of coffee.
In my younger days, I loved sugary beverages like sweetened iced tea, vitamin water, and juice. However, as I grew older, I've tried to leave that habit (and many other indulgent habits) behind.
Still, flashing back to drink plain water can be grueling . It's not as instigative! That is what drew me to the Cirkul bottle, which is a special water bottle that comes with flavor charges.
I decided to purchase the Cirkul and write an honest review about my experience with this trendy water bottle.
Will it help me drink further water? Will Cirkul be the key to working my hydration problems? Or will it end up collecting dust in a corner with my other abandoned purchases?
Let's dive into my detailed Cirkul water bottle review to find out!
What is Cirkul, and How Does It Work?
At first glance, the Cirkul bottle looks like a regular water bottle. It's an option between stainless steel or plastic bottles with various color and size options.
The stainless steel bottles have double walls for insulation, whereas plastic ones do not. Plastic Cirkul bottles are dishwasher-safe, but stainless steel bottles are not.
What sets Cirkul apart is its comfortable grip lid.
The lid has a wide opening where you can switch different flavor cartridges, offering zero-calorie flavors ranging from pure essence to unflavored fruit extracts and even vanilla iced coffee.
There is also a flavor dial on the cartridge that allows you to control the intensity of the flavor, which is great.
The prophet is in the cartridge, so the plain water passes through it before reaching your lips.
It automatically changes your water into your preferred flavor, whether it's sparkling explosion, fruit punch, mixed berry juice, or even a caramel iced coffee.
Each flavor is sugar-free and comes with some advancements like vitamin B, caffeine, or electrolytes.
A Quick Look into Cirkul as a Company
Many people don't drink enough water because they find it boring. The idea behind Cirkul is to motivate people to drink more water in the most convenient way possible.
The founders, Garrett Wagner and Andy Gay, came up with the idea of a water bottle with flavor cartridges when they were college football players at Dartmouth.
The main goal of Cirkul water bottles is to provide an alternative to sports drinks and flavored beverages while increasing water consumption.
Cirkul aims to compete with a wide range of carbonated drink flavors but without the calories.
The Cirkul system is somewhat environmentally friendly since Cirkul cartridges are reusable, reducing plastic waste. However, they are not indefinitely reusable, so drinking plain water from a reusable bottle is not as environmentally friendly as it seems.
They started their company in 2018, but it wasn't until 2021 when things really took off with the viral trend of Circul bottles on TikTok.
Due to the sudden surge in popularity, they made a deal with Walmart, where they are now one of the top-performing products in the home goods department.
Cirkul is rapidly growing and making waves in the water bottle market.
Cirkul Review: My Experience with Cirkul Water Bottle
For my honest review, I received a Cirkul water bottle starter kit bundle.
The more you spend, the higher the percentage of discount you get on the starter kit bundle. It makes sense to purchase multiple Cirkul bottles with various flavors, as you can get discounts of up to 35%.
For my starter kit, I chose a 22-ounce stainless steel bottle in gray color with a comfortable grip lid in orange. I also selected a variety of flavors.
Cirkul refers to the flavor cartridges as "Sips," and they come in multiple categories.
I purchased four flavors of Sips: "Gossips" with caffeine, "Lifesips" with vitamin B, "Fitsips" with electrolytes, and "Puresips" (now rebranded as "PureSense"), which are flavorless.
Since my purchase and testing of Cirkul Sips, within two to three months, the brand has expanded and undergone rebranding and redesigning amid their growth.
I have also noticed different packaging designs for my Lifesips and Fitsips as they transitioned between designs while fulfilling orders.
There are other drafts orders that I have not tried yet.
These include "Verda," which uses stevia extract instead of sucralose, and "Frosted," which promises to transform your water into vanilla iced coffee or pumpkin spice latte (I'm skeptical about this one based on my experiences with other flavors I've tried).
I'm here to provide you with an honest Cirkul water bottle review, so I'll tell you straight up that I'm uncertain about this product based on my experience.
